WKOSWIB? (pronounced nWIK-uooh-IB) is a performance work by dance artist Zinzi Minott, which investigates the consequences of slavery and slave history on the artist. WKOSWIB is a time-travelling dance piece, framed by sound from musical artist Nkisi, images by artist Rohan Aiyinde, and film by Minott herself. WKOSWIB is a physical interrogation into a heavy topic, expect to be challenged, moved, and pleased. Expect a sensory bath into the archives and a fresh look into how dance and history can sit side by side. Anticipate bass-line, shiny things and modernity. *Online booking fee applies.
